Encouragements From My Journal

Journal,

I’ve been a minister of the gospel since age 24. I am now 73. Yet I’ve never seen such opportunities available for ministers to be able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to so many people around the world. I would encourage any minister, or any child of God for that matter, to see about providing a blog on the world-wide web.

As an example, I’ve shared the gospel over the internet since 1999. Some I’ve done through forums. The thing about the web is it has a life of its own. Whatever you put on the web will stay there, long after you moved on to other things. (I actually have 700+ studies on the internet.)

I don’t know the numbers of people who have read my studies. On this blog that I began in 2009, I’ve had over 134,000 readers.

As for who takes notice of my current blog, here is the latest map that shows where the readers are coming from —

The point is that any minister can do what I am doing. I am simply one of multiplied millions of Christian ministers who keeps looking for avenues to share the story of Jesus Christ.

With that in mind, of the 300 entries in the archives of this blog, here are the five entries that have received the most readers. (Beginning with the most read.)

1st – Passing Through the Valley of Baca.

Lawrence "Buddy" Martin and his wife Betty are co-founders of Christian Challenge International. They have served the Lord in the ministry since the mid-1960s. They began Christian Challenge in 1976 with a stewardship from the Lord. The ministry began as a ‘School for Christian Workers’. It was Brother Buddy’s vision for ministry and missions that has led graduates of the school to enter the ministry as pastors or missionaries. Multiplied hundreds of disciples have been trained under the auspices of Christian Challenge.
