I&#8217;d like to<\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Graham.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4944\" style=\"margin: 10px;\" title=\"Graham\" src=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/Graham.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"237\" height=\"315\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> think that God loves me but I can&#8217;t.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ccffcc;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Billy Graham\u2019s response &#8211;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ccffcc;\"><em><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8220;Have you ever asked yourself what it would take to convince you that your emotions are lying to you, and that God really does love you?<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ccffcc;\"><em><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u201cI say this because we need to realize that our emotions don&#8217;t always tell us the truth. God gave us our emotions, and life would be very dull without them &#8211; but sometimes they get confused and make us believe things that aren&#8217;t really true. There may be all sorts of reasons for this, including the way we were raised or our childhood experiences &#8211; but whatever the reason, our emotions aren&#8217;t always dependable guides.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ccffcc;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Billy Graham later adds,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ccffcc;\"><em><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8220;How do I know God loves us? I know it for one reason: because God sent his only Son into the world to die for our sins.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">x<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-large;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">R<span style=\"font-size: medium;\">eaders<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Billy Graham\u2019s response to this person was to show how our emotions can easily misguide us in our walk of faith. Believers who depend largely on their emotions always have the greatest ups and downs in their spiritual life. Their real problem has to do with spiritual immaturity. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">And this brings me to an important issue with regard to a believer&#8217;s maturing in the Lord.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">There are actually stages all believers go through in growing in the Lord. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">We find several places in the new covenant that speak to these stages of maturing. For example Paul said of the\u00a0Corinthian Church,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8220;And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to\u00a0spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ.&#8221;<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> (1Co3:1) <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The word for infant here is &#8216;nepios&#8217; and speaks of a small <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">child above the age of an infant, probably around the age of three or <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">four years old. It is a term used for simple-mindedness or for an immature person.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/children.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4978\" title=\"children\" src=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/children.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"227\" \/><\/a>Paul later uses this same term, in saying, <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;When I was a child\u00a0(<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>nepios<\/strong><\/span>), I use to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a\u00a0child; when I became a man (<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>aner<\/strong><\/span>), I did away with childish\u00a0(nepios) things.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\"> (1Co13:11 &#8211; &#8216;Aner&#8217; is an adult male at the age of\u00a0marriage.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There are several places in the new covenant writings where a\u00a0stress is placed on becoming a mature believer. However, there is only one\u00a0place that appears to give the various stages of growth in a\u00a0believer&#8217;s life. It is this portion\u00a0of Scriptures I&#8217;ll draw from in this study.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">John said, <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;My little children, I am writing these things to you so\u00a0that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate\u00a0with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.&#8221;<\/em> (1John2:1)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Then John follows up with the descriptions of the age patterns for believers. He says,<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;I am writing to you, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>l<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>ittle children<\/strong><\/span>, because your sins have been\u00a0forgiven you for His name&#8217;s sake. I am writing to you, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>fathers<\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0because you know Him who has been from the beginning. <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;I am\u00a0writing to you, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>young men<\/strong><\/span>, because you have overcome the evil\u00a0one. I have written to you, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>children<\/strong><\/span>, because you know the Father. <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;I\u00a0have written to you <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>fathers<\/strong><\/span>, because you know Him who is from the\u00a0beginning. I have written to you, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>young men<\/strong><\/span>, because you are\u00a0strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome\u00a0the evil one.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While John does not list these levels of maturity in the order they\u00a0would be found, he does give the levels. He also gives the essential\u00a0trait that is found at each level.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Without being too technical, here are the Greek words in the order\u00a0of the natural progression in spiritual maturity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(1) <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;Little children.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> &#8211; The term is &#8216;teknoin.&#8217; This word has\u00a0extensions of meanings, but in the New Testament it is always\u00a0used affectionately. Technically it is a nursery term for very small\u00a0children.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(2) <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;Children.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> &#8211; The term is &#8216;paidion.&#8217; This reflects on a young boy or girl who is older than teknoin. Possibly pre-adolescence.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(3) <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;Young men.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> &#8211; The term is &#8220;neaniskos.&#8221; This is a young man\u00a0who is beyond the age of puberty, but usually before marriage.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(4) <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">&#8220;Fathers.&#8221;<\/span><\/em> &#8211; The term is &#8216;pater.&#8217; This term is used for a male\u00a0parent.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">At this point it is important to note the characteristic traits that John\u00a0places with each age of spiritual maturity. Understand this and you\u00a0will have insight into spiritual grown patterns. There are other terms\u00a0that could be brought in, but we are going to stay with John for the\u00a0present study. (There is even an &#8216;at the breast&#8217; level, but John doesn&#8217;t\u00a0include it in his writing here. The context has to decide on how a term is being used.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The LITTLE CHILDREN stag<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">e<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">.<a href=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/child2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4980\" title=\"child\" src=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/child2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"224\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><br \/> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This stage is the beginning of our journey. Little\u00a0children need unconditional acceptance and affection. Their world\u00a0revolves around parentage. What is the word to the little children?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;I\u00a0am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been\u00a0forgiven you for His name&#8217;s sake.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> (Vs1 and vs12.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For a new believer there is no greater need. This is the age where\u00a0the pastor and those who helped birth him or her into the kingdom\u00a0must be very cautious to seeing to their care. They live strongly by their emotions. Their security is the\u00a0parent. They identify\u00a0salvation with the Church they attend. It is sad to see some believers get stuck at this level.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The CHILDREN stag<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">e<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The little children stage is the next natural progression where the\u00a0believer begins to learn the authority of the father. Here love is\u00a0coupled with discipline. It is at this stage that\u00a0the believer learns\u00a0that he can no longer get by with things he use to get by with.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/child11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4983\" style=\"margin: 10px;\" title=\"child1\" src=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/child11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a>The level\u00a0of discipline that is required depends greatly on the child.\u00a0What the child is now learning is the that the world doesn&#8217;t revolve\u00a0around him. Every little whimper doesn&#8217;t bring, &#8220;That&#8217;s alright\u00a0honey.&#8221; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The child has to learn that there are consequences to bad\u00a0behavior. This is often the age where believers experience the\u00a0greatest difficulty in transition. (Feelings get hurt. They think they know\u00a0more than they actually know, etc.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">But what is the purpose behind this changing time? Hebrews\u00a012:11, says, <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful,\u00a0but sorrowful; ye to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it\u00a0yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.&#8221; <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The training produces\u00a0the proper way of living the Christian life. The Biblical walk of faith is a walk of righteousness, peace, and joy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>The YOUNG MAN stage<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This stage of spiritual maturity is where the believer becomes an\u00a0overcomer. He has learned that the true walk of faith consist of\u00a0taking a stand on the Word of Truth, and not on his emotions. The\u00a0character trait for this level is overcoming:<a href=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/tempter.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4985\" title=\"tempter\" src=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/tempter.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><br \/> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8220;I have written\u00a0to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God <\/span><\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.&#8221; <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">(Vs14)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>F<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>inally\u00a0the FATHERS (and mothers)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is the &#8216;deepening&#8217; of God. The\u00a0fathers don&#8217;t just know that their sins have been forgiven. They are\u00a0deeply acquainted with <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8216;Him who has been from the beginning.&#8221;<\/em><\/span> (Vs14)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/daughter.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4988\" style=\"margin: 10px;\" title=\"daughter\" src=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/daughter.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"205\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a>This may sound like a peculiar statement, but it has to do with the\u00a0Person of Jesus Himself. Whenever John uses the term <em>&#8216;from the\u00a0beginning,&#8217;<\/em> he has the mystery of the Messiah and of God&#8217;s Eternal\u00a0Word in view. The mature factor here has to do with understanding.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The word &#8216;know is &#8216;<em>ginosko<\/em>&#8216; and speaks of personal acquaintance.\u00a0It relates to understanding and perception. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The fully mature believer\u00a0perceives things as they really are. This is the highest level of our\u00a0spiritual life. It is this &#8216;knowing&#8217; that is the crown of a believer&#8217;s life.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Terms vary with usage<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Again we have to use caution. The context itself has to determine how a term is being used. For example we hear this from Jesus, <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have\u00a0hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed\u00a0them to infants (<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>nepios<\/strong><\/span><\/em><em>). <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. All things have been handed over to Me by\u00a0My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does\u00a0anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the\u00a0Son wills to reveal Him.&#8221;<\/em> (Matt11:25-27)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Jesus customarily uses the term &#8216;nepios&#8217; as a term of endearment,\u00a0but not necessarily as a level of maturity. However, we all begin as &#8216;nepios&#8217;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With regard to spiritual maturity, it is important to understand that all believers know the Lord on the spiritual level where they\u00a0are. For this reason most of us tend to think we know God better\u00a0than we really do. We just haven&#8217;t advanced in our &#8216;knowing&#8217;\u00a0experience yet. This is why we get so adamant in doctrinal debates.\u00a0But knowing God is not a doctrine. It is an experience of the heart.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Keeping an humble heart<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And this is why all believers need to keep an humble heart when it\u00a0comes to discovering the things of the Lord.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Can we get to know God better? Oh yes,\u00a0indeed. We can get to know the heart of God better and better all\u00a0the time. This is really what spiritual growth is about. It is about maturing in Christ. And this is what\u00a0Paul has in mind when he encourages believers on to maturity.<a href=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/wise.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4990\" title=\"wise\" src=\"http:\/\/buddymartin.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/wise.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"218\" \/><\/a><br \/> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Paul said, <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature;\u00a0a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who\u00a0are passing away; but we speak God&#8217;s wisdom in a mystery, the\u00a0hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our\u00a0glory.&#8221;<\/em> (1Co2:6,7)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Then Paul says something that is so often misunderstood. He speaks of the things which have never entered\u00a0the heart of man. The misunderstanding comes from projecting this\u00a0to, <em>&#8216;when we all get to heaven.&#8217;<\/em> This is not what Paul is referring to in this particular setting.\u00a0Paul is addressing the spiritual dynamics of the new covenant experience, where the Holy\u00a0Spirit takes the things of Christ and presents them to us. A\u00a0little reading of the context will show this to be true.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Listen carefully as the apostle explains the wonders of our Christian experience:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;But we speak God&#8217;s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;&#8230;but just as it is written, &#8216;Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.&#8217;<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">x<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Now we have receive<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>d<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/em><em><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God<\/strong><\/span><\/em><em>, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.&#8221;<\/em> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(1Co 2:7-13 NASB)<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I<span style=\"color: #000000;\">f you will meditate on these Scriptures you will see something wonderful. Paul is describing our present life. There is no question that our greater life is yet future and heavenly, but our present life in this world can be\u00a0wondrous beyond words.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The moral is as Billy Graham put it; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ccffcc;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;W<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ccffcc;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">e need to realize that our emotions don&#8217;t always tell us the truth.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> There is nothing greater in a Christian&#8217;s life than to learn to walk in God&#8217;s love. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While thinking on these things take time to listen to &#8216;Loving God.
